When trying to lose weight, we eat less food. This tends to end up with a funny little side effect… being hungry.
This can be annoying because it can make it very easy to cheat on our diet or binge eat at night.
However, there is a solution. Let’s talk about the top 3 ways to stay full while on a diet.
High Protein Diet
This is definitely going to be the most useful tool when trying to stay full. Protein is incredible for keeping us full for long periods of time. It also helps us maintain our muscle mass while trying to lose weight.
High Volume Foods
Eating foods that are low in calories but can be eaten in large amounts are a great trick in staying full. Options like: Salads, Potatoes, Vegetables, or Fruit are all great options for foods that you can eat large amounts of but still stay on the lower side of calories.
Fiber
This is getting more popular lately but some continue to neglect how important fiber truly is. Fiber is in foods like vegetables, fruits, and much more.
Even focusing on just one of these 3 options can make your diet much easier to do during longer periods of time.
