The Art of 1 Percent: Choosing to be Better Everyday

Everyone has specific goals, whether that’s to get more fit, get a new job, lose some weight, or anything else that is commonly achieved through work.

These goals, aren’t just achieved overnight. We don’t just wake up one day with 30 new pounds of lean muscle mass.

It’s the combination of long hard work, where each day you don’t necessarily see the progress you are working towards.

It’s much harder to see the small differences from day to day, but it becomes clear when we see something like a before and after picture.

This is where the mindset of 1 percent differences help many achieve those far away goals.

James Clear says it best “Success is the product of daily habits - not once in a lifetime transformations”.

It’s all about understanding the impact of small choices.

You choosing to skip a workout might not seem impactful, but if you continue to make that choice, that impact grows larger each time.

So I urge you to adapt the 1 percent mindset, where you build small routinely habits that are steps towards a far away goal.

These habits may seem small, but once you look back 365 days, I promise you that you will see the impact and change.
