Build Bigger, More Defined Abs and Finally Make Them Visible

Abs are just like any other muscle on your body, we are more than capable to grow them.

The issue here is that “Ab workouts” have gotten so far away from what actually grows muscle, to more of a HIIT type workout.

How To Grow Them

Abs are simple however most train them improperly.

Typically most will just move through their hip flexors.

What do I mean by this?

Let’s take leg raises for example, most will keep their glutes on the ground while they raise their legs up.

This is incorrect.

To fully contract the abs we want to get our hips moving too, which will achieve spinal flexion.

The abs help to flex the spine, therefore when we want to fully contract them, we need to round our spine.

So back to our example of leg raises, we want to get our butt off the ground to finish the movement.

Now what are the best exercises you could be doing to grow them?

It’s simple, there’s 2.

Cable Crunches/Machine Crunches and Leg Raises.

These will be the only two you need.

As long as you progress in difficulty each week, you will grow.

How to Show Them

Showing them is simple but not easy.

The stomach is a common place where people hold lots of fat, therefore to see them we need to lose that fat.

The only way to do this is a calorie deficit.

Set a meal plan where you’re eating less calories than you typically burn and you will start to lose that fat.

Pair this with the ab exercises and you’ve got yourself the best plan to achieve your goal.
