Times to be Hungry
If you’re losing weight, hunger will show up.

When losing weight, hunger is definitely going to show up sometimes.
Not because you’re failing… but because you’re in a calorie deficit.
There are times you should sit in the hunger, and there are times you need to eat.
Knowing the difference is what makes fat loss sustainable.
Times you SHOULD sit in the Hunger
When it’s just boredom
There are many times where we are just bored and are looking for something to do so we go and eat something. Typically this type of hunger can be avoided by distracting us with a different activity besides eating.
For example:
Go for a walk
Drink water
Engage in a hobby
Chew gum
When it’s cravings
Cravings aren’t always true hunger. Sometimes our bodies are fine but we just want something fun.
That’s completely normal, but we don’t need to treat every craving like it’s a command.
Times you SHOULD Feed Yourself
When there are actual side effects
If you’re getting headaches, lightheaded, moody or even feeling weak in the gym, this is where you should eat.
These are actual signs that our body needs fuel
In the morning
There are probably going to be people who disagree with me on this point. However, I’ve found that people tend to see how far into the day they can go without food.
This is just making it harder on yourself. You’ve gone 7-9 hours without food due to sleep, your body is going to need fuel, especially protein.
